PilotFish Interface Exchange (PIE)

This interface supports the transmission of the TXLife 1125 Case Status Notification to any trading partner capable of accepting the ACORD message including insurance carriers, third party providers, and agency management systems. Licensees can use the Data Mapper component of the XCS eiConsole to transform their in-house proprietary formats to and from the Case Status Notification ACORD-compliant format.

Services Description

For many, communicating with trading partners using ACORD compliant XML is a relatively new challenge. Fortunately, PilotFish Technology has implemented hundreds of ACORD XML interfaces including the TXLife 1125, and can take what may appear to be a daunting task and make it simple and quick. PilotFish is a Solution Provider member of ACORD. More importantly, ACORD has licensed the PilotFish software to support its own testing and certification facility. In most cases, companies can anticipate achieving end-to-end, ACORD-compliant support for the 1125 with only 15 person-days of support from PilotFish.

PilotFish Technology will implement the ACORD-compliant method of transmitting the TXLife 1125 using the preferred connectivity transport. Working collaboratively with your technical staff PilotFish Technology will:

• Analyze the required data output for the 1125 Case Status Notification and determine any additional data requirements.
• Create the transformation from the current format to the new ACORD format for the 1125.
• Configure the appropriate Listener to support your preferred method of collecting the data content for the Notification. Listener support includes: Database Tables, Directory, Email (POP3), Encrypted FTP, FTP, HTTP Post, JMS, SOAP Web Service and Programmable Java.
• Configure the appropriate XCS Transport to support your trading partner's preferred method of receiving the Transmittals. Transport support includes: Database Tables, Directory, Email (SMTP), Encrypted FTP, FTP, HTTP Post, JMS, SOAP Web Service and Programmable Java.
• Install the 1125 Case Status Notification interface on the XCS eiPlatform server at your company's site and test the interface end-to-end.
• Provide a detailed explanation of all components employed to accomplish the interface, hands-on training and formal education on the use and maintenance of the interface.
